Raw food restaurants hold increased in merde for the duration of the past 10 years, as more people seek healthier diets and lifestyles. Raw food restaurants serve no cooked foods. Instead, they serve an assortment of fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and sprouted grains?including raw desserts, raw pizza, raw ?lasagna? and more. Surprisingly, raw food tastes good?and best of all, it’s good for you.

Currently there are 95 raw food restaurants worldwide?however, their total quantity also includes a handful of vegetarian restaurants the are partially raw (restaurants overly serve both cooked and raw food selections).

Raw Food Restaurant Food Preparation

Raw food restaurants use the majority of weapons to prepare food for customers: a food processor, a high-powered blender, juicers, and variable-temperature dehydrators, among others. Absolutely no microwaves, ovens, or stoves are used. This is executed to preserve the live enzymes presents in all raw food. Live enzymes are destroyed when food is cooked out of 114 degrees Fahrenheit.

Raw Food Gourmet Chefs

The raw food trend has picked up steam in the most recent months, spawning ?gourmet raw food chefs? and raw food cooking schools. Even classic chefs are visiting raw food restaurants to find a cuisine that offers unforeseen diversity, flavor and texture.

Popular Raw Food Restaurants

Some of the a good deal more well-known raw food restaurants include Juliano’s Raw in Santa Monica, California. Juliano’s Raw was one of the first raw food restaurants to open its doors. Other well-known raw food restaurants include Pure Food & Wine in New York City, and Café Gratitude in San Francisco, California.

Being a long time nurse and raw fooder myself who has cured herself of numerous ailments, diseases and conditions, I can give you a good idea of the best foods to eat.

You may be interested in starting a raw food diet because you have health concerns. If so, know that I cured myself many years ago within one month of starting to eat raw foods of breast cancer, fibromyalgia, arthritis, acid reflux, GERD and digestive issues, recurrent heartburn, headaches, diarrhea, constipation, TMJ that goes along with fibromyalgia, sleeping problems – waking up for two hours in the middle of the night and many others.

Maybe you’re already healthy and just want to make sure you stay that way. A raw food diet will be insurance for you as well.

Before I started on raw foods I had never heard the term “raw foods,” so it was all new to me. I learned fast however and it was really quite simple. A raw food diet can be anything you want it to be if you stick with plant foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds. Of course you don’t have to eat 100% raw foods to get the many health benefits of a vegan raw food diet.

If your focus is on an 80% raw food diet especially – to begin with that may be a good idea, unless you have some very serious health concerns. Then you may want to take a different approach – as many raw foods or living foods as they are also called, in your diet as you can handle. Of course you’ll want to check with your doctor on any diet changes you make and especially if you have any serious illnesses, diabetes, heart problems or you’re on any medications. Clear it with your doctor first.

My best suggestion is that you try to add a lot more fruit to your breakfast menu. You may know that the national Food Guide Pyramid recommends about nine fruits and vegetables a day. This means two to four servings of fruits and at least three to five servings of vegetables every day. I don’t think that is enough. I eat a lot more than that in one day.

Raw foods have few calories and people lose weight fast when going on a raw food diet. It’s not meant to be a temporary fix but a lifetime commitment to superior health. That’s what I enjoy and have from the first month I made a change from the standard American diet, many years ago.

For lunch and dinner you can have fruits, veggies, huge salads and sunflower seed pates, roll-ups, raw vegan entrees and raw desserts such as live fudge, blueberry pie, lemon torte, live apple pie, raw fudge and hundreds of other choices. You can make crackers easily, smoothies, fresh green and carrot juices and lots of appetizers. There are many recipes you can make and easy raw recipe books that you can help you get a good start too. Raw food recipes are usually fast and simple.

The important thing is to do something. Get started on a raw food diet and see the pounds melt away, this without buying expensive diet programs or diet plans or investing in expensive supplements. I lost ten pounds fast and it shocked me. If you don’t need to lose weight, that is only one of hundreds of benefits of eating a raw food diet. Raw foods are loaded with nutrients, phytonutrients, fiber, vitamins, minerals and trace minerals and all in their natural state. Get started on the road to superior health today! Now you may have a better idea of “What I can eat on a raw food diet!” Get started today and enjoy superior health like I do!

If you’re thinking about eating raw foods or adding more raw foods to your diet, I can tell you from personal experience that when I started eating raw foods many years ago, all my dozens of ailments literally disappeared in the first month. I had a list of diseases including breast cancer, fibromyalgia, GERD, acid reflux, irritable bowel syndrome, sinus problems, headaches, gum disease, etc. Other raw fooders report similar experiences.

Here are just a few of the benefits you may experience on a vegan, living food diet or as it’s usually called – a raw food diet:

1. The most important benefit of a raw food diet is the fact that many ailments, conditions and diseases will disappear. It’s established that a plant food diet will boost your immune system and help your body recover from many diseases including diabetes and heart disease. Blood pressure will normalize in most cases. Plaque will no longer build up and threaten your heart and blood vessels. And any plaque that you have now will break up and float away.

2. A raw food diet is a natural weight loss diet. You can lose weight fast and safely. And you’ll find that you are healthier than you’ve ever been at the same time. I lost ten pounds fast by eating only mostly raw foods, no supplements either.

3. A raw food diet provides plenty of the body’s requirements for carbohydrates, the right fats and protein. There are hundreds of phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals, enzymes, water and fiber packed into fruits, veggies. nuts and seeds.

4. Your immune system will be boosted and you’ll be in a better position to fight off any colds, flu or any new diseases that might be thinking about cropping up. You just won’t get sick very often or at all if you’re eating a raw food diet. It’s a natural raw food detox diet too.

5. You won’t need all the supplements you’re taking. Many supplements try to copy nutrients, vitamins and minerals. But what’s little known is that many of these nutrients only work properly with other nutrients and chemicals in living or raw food and many of these have not been discovered. Taking the isolated nutrient may do no good and be a waste of money.

6. You’ll likely need less sleep than you do now and it will be rested, refreshing sleep. I started sleeping five hours a night after starting to eat raw foods and still after many years only need five hours a night.

7. You’ll find you won’t need all the pills you’re taking and can get rid of many or all, of them saving you from all the risks to your body that are happening right now that you cannot see! Kidney and liver transplant lists are teeming with people who have damaged their livers and kidneys with pills, medicines and medications, even over-the-counter medications are risky and combined with the wrong medication can kill you. Check with your doctor first before giving any of your meds up though.

There are dozens of other good benefits of eating raw foods, or going on a predominately raw food diet, too many to list here. Just being able to get rid of long held ailments and diseases and enjoying a healthy weight loss should be a good reason to start eating raw foods like I do.
